HOW TO SEE WONDERS
“GOD WANTS US TO SEE AND EXPERIENCE HIS WONDERS,THAT’S THE WILL OF GOD FOR US”…..Luke 19:1-9
We will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living….Psalm 27:13&Psalm 26:7 the goodness of the Lord is called wonders. If you are willing and obedient you will eat of the goodness of the land… Isaiah 1:19, 1Corinthians 2:9…Eyes has not seen nor ear heard the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. God will make you to eat the good of the land. God wants to give you something that no one has ever gotten before, he wants to give you something new, something better; something great, and something glorious. Isaiah 42:9 … Behold the former things have come to pass and the new thing I declare… God is God of new things.
Isaiah 9:6. Unto us a child is born, unto us a child is given he shall be called “Wonderful”It is only Jesus Christ that can give you wonderful things because his name is “Wonderful”. His name is “Counsellor” there is no one that can council you to fulfilment than Jesus Christ. He is a mighty God; he is not a God that lies, he is not a God that cannot speak, he is not a God of stone; he is a living God and an everlasting father that never dies… Psalm 90: 1&2….. God is God and will continue to be God.
Jesus is the Prince of peace; if we want peace, Jesus is the answer, and Hebrew 12:2… Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Jesus is the one that does not allow the enemies to triumph upon us, he is the one that puts your enemies to shame, he is the one that makes you to be alive, he is the one that says I am that I am, he is the one that surrounds you with his wall of fire, he is the one that makes things happen in your life.
He told Moses I am that I am go forward for I am with you, he makes you a terror in the camp of your enemies. he takes away the garment of shame, he takes away the garment of disgrace, he takes away the garment of infirmity, he takes away the garment of sorrow and replaces it with the garment of glory.
Zacchaeus was a chief tax collector who wanted to see Jesus but he had two obstacles, that wanted to stand on his way:
(1) He was a man of short stature i.e his nature stood as his obstacle but he pressed forward until he saw the wonder of God.
(2) The Crowd following Jesus made it difficult for him to see Jesus, but he pressed forward amidst all his obstacles and he still saw Jesus,we should learn from him. Jesus was so humble, he interacted with everyone, both poor, rich and sinners as well even with his disciples, and they did everything together. If you want to see the wonders of God, you must be like Jesus Christ, Psalm 71….I have become a wonder to many but you are my strong refuge.
When the Lord makes you are wonder you will see what happens;
(1) When the enemy tries to kill you, they will never be able to over power you.
(2) When they are looking for you in the west you are in the east untoucheable.
(3) When they shoot an arrow, the arrow bounces back and go back to them.
(4) They try to erase you but God promotes you, those are the wonders God.
If you want to see God there will always be a Crowd:
There are 4 things that a crowd does:
(1) A crowd discourages you; The day of your blessing, might be the day the devil uses someone to discourage you don’t accept defeat.
(2) There is obstruction; People will try to obstruct you from receiving your blessing.Joseph’s brothers wanted to be an obstacle to him but he pressed forward….
(3) You can find hatred and enemity from the crowd, People just hate you with a passion. Psalm 69:4… Those who hate me without a cause…Psalm 2: 1-4. In the book of Mark 10:46-52, blind Bartimaeus was crying out to Jesus but the crowd silenced him but he cried out saying “Jesus of Nazareth, son of David have mercy upon me”, he pressed forward until the Master heard him.
(4) The crowd causes distraction and confusion, they want you to doubt your calling and your decision, You must press beyond the crowd.
There will be confusion, distraction, and discouragement in other to obstruct you from seeing the wonders of God. God wants you to go forward regardless of your situation or what the enemies are doing in your life because that is where your blessing is…….. Samuel 1:6&10-15, when Hannah was tormented by her rival who made her life miserable, but she still pressed forward and did not give up hope.

Zacchaeus was a man of short stature:
Our nature and live situation may become short like Zacchaeus in the bible, but our lives should measure up with God’s standard so nothing will disturb us, from making it to where God has ordained for us. Sin makes us to fall short of the glory of God… Roman 3:23…For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God…Every one who wants to see Jesus Christ must understand the standard of God; God can never lower his standard for anybody.. John 9:31… God does not hear a sinner’s prayer….Psalm 66:18, Roman 6:1..We cannot fall short of the glory of God and expect to receive his wonders………Proverb 13:22. God wants to transfer the blessings of the wicked ones to you but when he sees that, what the sinners are doing are the same things that you and I are doing he will not transfer it because then he will not be a just Judge. God wants to give us the wealth of the gentiles and sinners because we are not part of them. 1 Peter 5:5…….. God gives grace to the humble, he will not make a proud men rich and you in turn instead of helping the poor with your money ,you will oppress them, even your family and friends, then you will become God over people, because he is a jealous God and does not want anyone to share his glory and position such wealth he will not release unto us.
Zacchaeus climbed a sycamore tree because he was desperate to see Jesus, because he knew it was the last time that Jesus will pass Jericho, at last Jesus saw him and even went to Zacchaeus dwelling place. You do not know your appointed time do not miss every opportunity that comes your way, make use of it. Jacob said to the angel “I will not let you go unless you bless me”……. Genesis 32:26.
