DAY
1: CAGING THE STORM OF LIFE

Luke 8:22-25……But He said to them, “Where is your faith?”
And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, “Who can this be?
For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!”

The Lord God Almighty sent His only begotten son to
this world; He sent Jesus Christ to this world because of you and I. 1 John 3:8….He
who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this
purpose the son of God was manifested….. So Jesus Christ was manifested so that
He can destroy the works of the devil. The situation that you and I are now is
crossing over to the other side. We are crossing to 2013, God wants us to
understand that, there is something you supposed to have gotten this year, that
has not yet come to your hand and God is ready to give it to you.

The master of the Universe spoke to His disciples “let
us cross over to the other side of the lake” He is sending me to tell you today
that we are crossing over to the other side. Our crossing over is divine; our
crossing over is unto the Lord; our crossing over is unto God. We have been on
the same level for so long and this is the time to move forward. The bible made
us understand that Joshua told the children of Israel Joshua 18:3….. For how
long will you neglect to go and possess the land which the Lord God of your
fathers has given you? You are staying in a particular place; what am hearing
now is that you have to cross to the other side. The level where you are is too
small for you; you have to move to the next level. You are going to excel above
all your contemporaries in the name of Jesus.  

God is says stop neglecting to go; stop neglecting
in moving; stop neglecting in crossing over; this is the time to cross over. When
the children of Israel were at Mount Horeb; Deuteronomy 2:2-3…And God said “you
have skirted this mountain long enough turn northward” you have been on the
same particular level for a very long time; this is the time for you to move. Fear
makes us not to move; we look at it like- I do not think I can do it but the bible
made us understand  in 1 Timothy 1:7….For
God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound
mind. God does not give you the spirit of fear; the spirit of fear does not
come from God, it comes from the devil. Fear makes people to stay in the same
place; you are moving forward; you are crossing over in the name of Jesus
Christ…….

When the children of Israel were to cross over
Jordan, or to cross over the red sea; the master of the universe was in front
of them. He moved to the back He gave the Egyptians darkness and the children
of Israel light because He was the angel that took them out of Egypt. 1
Corinthians 10:4….They all drank from the spiritual drink; for they drank of
that spiritual rock that followed them and that rock was Christ. Christ was the
rock that followed them; the master of the universe is the same that was in the
boat with the disciples to cross over. The master of the universe was there-
first time with the children of Israel, second time with his disciples; third
time the same master of the universe is here with you, to cross over to the
next level.

If you are crossing alone it might be dangerous for
you, but He is inside the boat that is taking you to the next level. You are
moving to the other side of the lake; you will wave your hands to all your
contemporaries. To those you are dining together; you will wave to them bye-
bye I am no longer in your camp; I am no longer in affliction, I am no more in
pain, I am no more in poverty, because the master of the universe is carrying
me right now to cross over to the land which is flowing with milk and honey. Jesus
is taking you to another level; master of the universe is taking you to another
level; let us cross over to the other side; we have skirted this mountain long enough.
We have stayed on the same level long enough; it is time for God to catapult us
to the next level. We bind the spirit of fear; we are marching forward; we are
crossing to the next level; we are cross to the other side. We bind the spirit
of fear; it shall not grip us anymore; we say we are crossing over in the name
of Jesus……

For so many years the enemies have tied you down and
blind folded you; but your eyes are open now, you can do better than what you
are doing; you can move higher; you are crossing over in the name of Jesus. No more
limitation; no more restriction; no more barriers. When they ask you what is
happening to you tell your neighbor “I am crossing over” enough is enough; they
have tied you down for year, but I belief your time has come to move. If you
are ready to move God is ready to take you to the next level. If you are ready;
God is ready for you; the master of the universe says “your time has come to
cross over.” Is there anything tying you down, loose yourself- say “I loose
myself from anything that is tying me down; I loose myself from the miry clay; I
am coming out from the horrible pit; I am coming out; I am confident that my
father will do it; I am coming out from poverty; from failure; I am coming out
from business liquidation; I am coming out from insult; I am coming out from
dishonor; I am coming out from problem; I am coming out from affliction. You are
coming out from minimum to maximum because the purpose of God must be fulfilled
in your life. You are coming out from depression; you are coming out from
intimidation; you are coming out from frustration; from trouble.

The master of the universe says come out; you are
crossing over to the other side. No more fear; people may try to frighten you,
but you will not be frightened because the master said lets cross over. Jesus is
crossing over with us. As I was preaching, I saw a rainbow; it is not every
time we see it in spirit, but I saw it.

 

 Rainbow represents three things-

(1)  It represents
the covenant of God for His children that can never fail. Because God made that
covenant with Noah that He will not wash away the world. He will not destroy the
world with water anymore; I can see the covenant of God is upon everyone here
in the name of Jesus Christ.

(2) It represents glory. It means that your glory
will shine; it means that you are going to shine; I say you are going to shine.
It is the glory of God, the beauty of God will radiate in your life this hour
in the name of Jesus Christ  

(3) It means end of problem. Reason is because God
said that whenever rain is falling; “I will set my rainbow” when the rainbow is
set in heaven the rain stopped; the flooding stopped. So it is end of problem;
end of trouble; in the name of Jesus Christ….

Jesus said “let us cross over” and they sailed out. One
of the reasons people do not cross over is fear. When there is fear we have
lack of faith, because you either have fear or faith. Anyone that has faith
does not fear; that is why Jesus Christ said “where is your faith.” As they
were crossing over Jesus Christ fell asleep but suddenly there was a tempest;
there was a windstorm and that is what Jesus Christ has come to still in your
life and mine tonight Alleluia. The bible said there was a boisterous wind, it
was blowing the boat to the extent that it was about to capsize; and they were
filling with water. Are you telling me that the master was still sleeping? No He
was looking at them; He wanted to know what they are going to do. So they were
trying to move the boat into the right direction, but the wind kept blowing; making
you and I to understand that if we want to do it by ourselves we cannot get
anything.   

You have tried, labored and used all your wisdom but
now come to Jesus. People look at you at times as if you do not know how to do
it. You know how to do it better than those who are excelling today. You are
better than those who are above you or on top today. It is not that you do not
know how to do it but your own case is different from their case.  Your own life is different from their lives;
your destiny is different from their own destiny. Some people put little effort
and accomplish their needs but some people have to fight very hard to achieve
their goals. The bigger your destiny the greater your challenges; you have a
purpose to fulfill that is why your challenges are greater. At times you ask God
“why my sister is making it and I am not making it?” And God will tell you that
your own case is different because you are greater, bigger and higher than them.
When that blessing comes you will see that those who have gone before you will
come back to look up to you because yours is greater than them, praise the name
of the Lord.

And the boat was sinking, and they have no choice
than to call “master master” they went to the master and that is why you are
here today. You have come to the master of the universe and the bible said
Jesus arose, looked at the wind and rebuked the wind “be still”. What are the winds that are blowing you or what is that
particular wind that is blowing you? I speak with the master’s voice “be still”   in the
name of Jesus Christ……

Your own wind might be lack of money’ lack of life
partner; your own wind might be hatred that people of this world has placed
upon you or that people always lie against you. Your own wind might be that
your families are against you; or they have filed a law suit against you. Your own
wind might be that the enemies want to wipe you off or have put some
implications against you; your own wind might be fruit of the womb. Whatever
your storm is, the master arises today as He rose on that day and say “be still; every wind storm be still; every
wind of your life still” in the name of Jesus.

Isaiah 40:4-5…..Every valley shall be exalted……Valley
is a low hill that how some people business is. The enemies have taken your
business to the valley so nobody sees it; it does not produce anything; it does
not make anything.  You have struggled
and struggled because they have dug your business into the valley. The bible says
“every valley shall be exalted.” This hour every valley shall be exalted; I speak
the master’s voice; every valley shall be exalted. The word said “every
mountain and hill shall be brought low” it means that you are going through
mountains; there are some mountains that are standing before you; there are
some mountains that the enemies have mounted against you. Zechariah 4:7…..Who
are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain… There are
some mountains before you; but the mountain shall be brought down low. It means
that every mountain shall be uprooted in the name of Jesus Christ. The word of
God said “the crocked place shall be made straight” in the name of Jesus Christ….

The bible says “every rough place shall be made
smooth” God will make your life smooth in the name of Jesus. Your life; journey,
marriage, business, may be rough; God said “He will make it smooth” Isaiah 40:5……The
glory of the Lord will rise upon you and all eyes shall see them together. “All eyes” means the eyes of your
enemies; those who have disdained you; who said it will not be possible for
you; those who said you cannot get there; their eyes will see it when the Lord
beautifies your life. All eyes shall see them together because the glory of the
Lord shall be revealed in you in the name of Jesus Christ. They will see it and
say “how did you manage to get it “because the mouth of the Lord has declared
it.  So the master arose and said “be still” today we will bring ourselves
together in the unity of the spirit to command the storm of our life to be
still. The time of your celebration has come in the name of Jesus…….
