WAITING FOR THE APPOINTED TIME

Saul pursued David because he had seen his destiny and thought that he could destroy him so that he would not fulfill it but whatever God has established and ordained, billion or hundred billion demons cannot destroy it. God who has ordained us, will make us fulfill our destiny in the name of Jesus Christ….Amen…

So David went up there and his two wives also, Ahinoam the Jezreeliteness and Abigail the widow of Nabal the Carmelite and David brought up the men who were with him every man with his household: so they dwelt in the cities of Hebron, then the men of Judah came and there, they anointed David King over the house of Judah”…..
God has sent me to speak to you on the subject titled Waiting For The Appointed Time. God wants everyone of us to wait for our appointed time, everyone of us have our own appointed time but the problem we have is that, we do not know how to wait or we do not even want to wait….Everyone wants everything to happen immediately some of us have about ten important things we are asking God and we want God to do everything immediately. God has an appointed time for everything concerning our life……Ecclesiastes 3:1… ‘to everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven.’….You and I are dwelling under this heaven, there is a time for everything. There is a time to build your house, a time to pluck out, a time to plant, a time to celebrate, a time to feel well, a time to go through challenges, a time to go through the storms of life, but one thing is certain that whatever we are going through, God is always there with us……..
……1 Samuel 16:13… Samuel anointed David as king………he took the horn of oil and anointed David in the presence of his brethren. That time, Saul was still reigning as king but God had already departed from him while he was still alive….1 Samuel 16:14………..the spirit of the Lord departed from Saul and a distracting spirit from the Lord troubled him. God is not in the camp of our enemies, but God is with us..
………. 2 Samuel 24……. Saul organized about three thousand men to bring down one person; ‘David’ he had already commanded that wherever you see David, he should be put to death. Saul has seen that David is the one to take over from him and he did not want it to be.. let me say this to you, you may not know why God created you but God who created you knows the reason why he created you, you may not know the purpose that you are supposed to fulfill but God who created you, knows the purpose that you are supposed to fulfill. And that is the reason why you have to let God take control of your life…..Luke 11: 2…. ‘your will be done on earth as it is in heaven’… the will of God has to be done in our lives what he has ordained for our lives is what he wants us to be. Have faith in God and see what the Lord is going to do for you. God had already overthrown Saul while he was still working as a king…..1 Samuel 16: 1… ‘Now the Lord said to Samuel “How long will you morn for Saul seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go; I am sending you to Jesse the Bethlehmite. For I have provided myself a king among his sons…..”

……….Isaiah 54:15 when God was speaking he said ‘indeed they shall surely gather together but not because of me’ all those who are standing against you is not because of God, not because of him means that I should disassociate myself from them. God is not in their camp and he said whoever assemblies against you shall fall for your sake in the name of Jesus Christ… Amen.
…….Saul was pursuing David and suddenly he slept off. The first time David got into Saul’s camp, he was sleeping so he cut off the hem of his robe all his three thousand bodyguards were with him but had all slept off. The power of the Lord will make your enemies to sleep by the time you are crossing over to the new level in the name of Jesus Christ……Amen.
The bible tells us everything we need to know in life if we can read it very well, we will no longer be allowing stress in our lives……..
Psalm 119: 89.. ‘he said forever oh Lord, your word is settled in heaven’… God can never change his word, Matthew 24: 34…. ‘Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass by till everything takes place. Heaven and earth shall pass away but every word that has come out of my lips shall by no means pass away’…..Numbers 23:19… God is not a man, that he should lie; or the son of man that he should repent. God will never change his word, he doesn’t change it what he says he would do that is what he will do…..
Psalm 62:11.. God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this that power belongs to God and also to God be glory for he rewards to everyone according to his works. God has spoken his words
Psalm 19:7..the law of the lord is perfect converting the soul’. The law of God is perfect. God is perfect in his law what he has said he is going to do concerning us, nobody can change it in the name of Jesus Christ … Amen……

Then Saul looked at himself and said he had done foolishly and David had done wisely and informed David that he would not pursue him anymore as written in chapter 24. However, in Chapter 26, Saul did not keep to his word and pursued David again. At this time, Abner the son of Ner was the commander of the whole army in Israel. Yet him, King Saul and his three thousand men were all asleep when David came into their camp……..

……When they are struggling with you, it means that there is something good within you. The devil is against anything that is good, if the devil leaves you alone and everything is fine, it means that there is nothing good anymore or maybe you have expired but you have not expired. Your time is not expired but Everybody here has to wait for their time……..
David did not move until God told him to move. If God did not tell you to move don’t move. God said in Psalm 46:10….. ‘be still and know that I am God’ but majority of us do not want to wait. God wants you to wait for your time, some people have gone before you, let them go but when God says it is your time, you would overtake them. Wait for your time, you must be able to discipline yourself on how to wait. God wants us to wait. Saul died and even after that, David still enquired of the Lord is it the right time to go in or it is not yet time and the Lord said ‘Yes’ then he asked where do you want me to go….. The Lord said go up to Hebron and when he got there, the Lord had already announced David and they anointed him as king, his Purpose was fulfilled……
It doesn’t matter the way they are fighting your purpose?.. but that purpose is not ordained by them its ordained by God. If the purpose fails it means God fails but God can never fail he will fulfill it. Are we ready to wait? Now while we are waiting let me tell you this fact. And the lord has spoken that five hundred years before their deliverance and when they were suddenly three hundred and ninety years, Moses moved out in other to deliver and unfortunately, instead of delivering, he was killing. A deliverer became a murderer and they waited for another forty years. So instead of four hundred years, they sojourned four hundred and thirty years. Because they did not wait. Let me say to you, we cannot jump the queue. We need to allow God give us the direction. You may say that how do I know. When the children of Israel were in the wilderness the bible made us to understand that God used signs…..
The five different signs from God that your Appointed time is here:
The first sign the Lord can give you is the sign of DREAM:.. Numbers 12: 6.. he said “if there is a prophet among you, I the lord will make myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream”. God can speak to you in a dream. When the time of Jacob came for him to move out of Leban, the lord appeared to him in a dream. God will appear to you in your dream, God will reveal to you in your dream
The second sign is in a VISION:.. God will open your eyes to see in a vision or he will open someone else’s eyes so that the purpose of God might be fulfilled in your life. He said I will make myself known to you in a dream or vision.. Numbers 12: 6.. God can show to you in a vision.
The third sign is through a SIGN:… that is by sending his own servant to you. God sent prophet Samuel to David. In 1 Samuel 16: 13.. he anointed David why the king Saul was still ruling. David had already been installed. Let me say this to us, it is better to do the right thing. When God exchanges anyone, he does not look back. God has already exchanged and overthrown Saul while he was still living and on the throne. Whenever anyone is messing up someone else is warming up. This is God because he will not allow his purpose to be destroyed. The purpose of God will be fulfilled in your life in Jesus name..Amen
God can send a prophet to you, a prophet of God, a servant of God, he sends his prophets and is still sending his prophet…..1 Samuel 9:16… he told Samuel, a man from the land of Benjamin will come to you by this time tomorrow and you shall anoint as a commander over my people and he shall begin to deliver my people from the hand of the philistines… God is still speaking. So it can be through his prophets.
The fourth sign can be through God’s DIVINE SIGNAL:….Exodus 40:36-37……. whenever the cloud is taken up from the tabernacle, the children of Israel knew it was time for them to move, but whenever the cloud is on the tabernacle they will remain, God gives so many signal to us but at times, we do not look unto it. God gives us signals, he gives us signs to make us understand that it is time for us to move. If God needs you in another place and he has been talking to you in a dream or vision through people and you remain there, God can make a sign and they will fire or lay you off and when your appointment is terminated will you still remain there?..’NO’…There are some appointments that have been terminated and we say God why is it happening like this?… but if you go back to God you will understand that God needs you somewhere else,Something better which the Lord has provided for you……
The fifth sign is PROPHESY:….. God gives us a sign through prophesy when it is prophesied, someone that does not know you, someone you have never met before or you yourself may prophesy about your own destiny when the power of God will come upon you and say this is the time. The word of God said in 2 Corinthians 6:2.. ‘in the acceptable time, I have heard you, and in the day of salvation, I have helped you. Behold, now is the acceptable time, behold now is the day of salvation’…. God wants you to wait for your time and when your time comes, he will give you a signal, he will give you a sign. That others are doing it does not mean that we have to do the same thing. What others are doing and making it, you may do the same thing and not make it but when you do what God ask you to do, you will get the result……
Today, my prayer is that you will fulfill your destiny in the name of Jesus Christ.. Amen……..
