BIBLE READING: Daniel 9: 1-4, Genesis 29:8-10, Genesis 25:11-12
Daniel 9: 1-4 says “ In the first year Darius the son of Ahaseuerrus of the lineage of the Medes who was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans— in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the Lord through Jeremiah the prophet that He will accomplish seventy years in the desolation of Jerusalem. Then I set my face towards the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplication with fasting, sackcloth and ashes. And I prayed to the Lord my God and made confession and said O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him and with those who keep His commandments.”
Genesis 29:8-10 says “ But they said, we cannot until all the flocks are gathered together and they have rolled the stone from the well’s mouth, then we water the sheep. Now, while he was still speaking with them, Rachel came out with her father’s sheep, for she was a shepherdess. And it came to pass, when Jacob saw Rachel the daughter of Laban his mother’s brother and the sheep of Laban his mother’s brother, that Jacob went near and rolled the stone from the well’s mouth and watered the flock of Laban his mother’s brother.”
Genesis 25: 11-12 says “ And it came to pass after the death of Abraham that God blessed his son Isaac. And Isaac dwelt at Beerlahairoi. Now this is the genealogy of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah’s maidservant, bore to Abraham.’
God loves us but hates sin, for example, the sin of homosexuality and the sin of Idol worshipping ( Baals) by the Israelites. God wants you to be aware of so many things most importantly time. It is for everyone living not just for parents( head of homes) or students alone. Ecclesiastes 3:1says “ To everything, there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” Everything on heaven and on earth has time. Genesis 32:25-26 says “ Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him. He touched the socket of his hip and the socket of Jacob’s hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him. And He said, Let Me go for the day breaks. But he said I will not let you go unless You bless me.” An Angel has his own time to spend on earth. An Angel has his own time to go back to heaven to render reports. He has to bless Jacob. God has time for us. A time can be delayed if you do not have the awareness. There is something you have to do yourself; there is something you have to put your effort upon; there is something you have to be aware of. Israel was in captivity for seventy years during the reign of Nebuchadnezzer. Seventy years past, there was no deliverance. Genesis 15:13-14 says “ Then He said to Abraham, know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs and will serve them and they will afflict them four hundred years. And also the nation whom they serve, I will judge ; afterward they shall come out great possessions.” Many a times, people cry instead of calling God. When a farmer plant crops, he is also aware of the time to harvest. Everything is not rosy for the Christians but God wants you to ask. Matthew 7:7 says “ Ask, and it will be given to you; Seek, and you will find; Knock and it will be opened to you. People do not ask. Psalm 50:15 says “ Call upon Me in the days of trouble, I will deliver you and you shall glorify Me.” Again, Jeremiah 29:12 says “ Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me and I will listen.” Nevertheless, Jeremiah 33:3 says “Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you do not know.” John 16:24 says ‘ Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive that your joy may be full.” God wants you to ask. Luke 11:1-3 says “ Now it came to pass as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, Lord teach us to pray as John also taught his disciples. So He said to them, When you pray, say, Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come .Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us day by day our daily bread. “ God wants to give you daily bread. Psalm 20:4 says “ May He grant you according to your heart’s desire and fulfill all your purpose.” Again Psalm 21:2 says “ You have given him his heart’s desire and have not withheld the request of his lips.” God wants you to have your heart desire but you have to ask. Prayer does not take time but God wants you to ask. Psalm 37:34 says “ Wait on the Lord and keep His way and He shall exalt you to inherit the land. When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.” Your waiting does not mean that God has not answered your prayers. Matthew 4:11 says “ Then the devil left Him and behold angels came and ministered to Him.” John 17: 1-26 Jesus prayed to the end. Acts 4:31 says “ And when they had prayed , the place where they were assembled together was shaken and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and they spoke the word of God with boldness.” You have to pray so that the kingdom of darkness will be shaken, then the devil will know there is a power greater than powers. Hebrew 12:26 says “ whose voice then shook the earth but now He has promised saying, yet once more I shake not only the earth but also heaven.” You have to shake the shakable. God is ready to shake the heaven and earth, silence your enemies , destroy the destroyers. You have to get the awareness of time. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says “ He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.” Everything God made is beautiful. This is your time of triumph, elevation, exaltation in Jesus name. 2 Corinthians 6:12 says “ You are not restricted by us but you are restricted by your own affections.” This is the time of your blessing, joy, lifting and no power of darkness can stand against it. This is time for God to finish your enemies, arrows are sent back to sender, things bothering you are over, this is your time of solution, God says yes to all your endeavors, He says your battle is over, shame to your enemies, you will bury your enemies. Receive lifting, joy celebration, no more crying, no more mourning, no more lack, no more stagnation, no more hindrance, enemies will not say where is your God because this is your time, no wasting time anymore, you will rise, you will shine, people will see the glory of God upon your life, receive power of God , receive deliverance. Every power tying you down must collapse Every power pushing you back must crash today in Jesus name
RELEVANCE OF AWARENESS OF TIME
- IT MAKES YOU TO KNOW HOW CLOSE YOU ARE TO YOUR DESTINY OR NEW SEASON .
Isaiah 43:18-19 says “ Do not remember the former things nor consider the things of old.” God says He will do new things in your life. Get the awareness and pray for it. Always sing a new song. Do not speak to enemies you think are your friends thereby revealing your dreams to them. Any bad tree around you is cut off from your life. Do not be in a haste to get along with people, family, help because they pretend to be your friends . Exodus 40:35-38 says “ And Moses was not able to enter the tabernacle of meeting because the cloud rested above it and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. Whenever the cloud was taken up from above the tabernacle, the children of Israel would go forward in all their journeys. But if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not journey till the day that it was taken up.. For the cloud of the Lord was above the tabernacle by day and fire was over it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys. Their might be something in your door entrance you don’t have the awareness. The General Overseer gave a testimony of a demonic tree around his house in London where the witches had their meeting. He had to pray and poured anointing oil on the tree and cut it down after a revelation from God. When the devil demolishes things, it is difficult to repair. You should have the awareness of time, people around you, people that you think are your friends.
- DO THE RIGHT THING AT THE RIGHT TIME
In Genesis 18:1-14 , Abraham entertained the Angels of God. They blessed Sarah who was about 90 years old that she would have a son. Genesis 21:1 says “ And the Lord visited Sarah as He as He had said and the Lord did for Sarah as He had spoken.” The Angel visited Sarah. People tend to do the right thing at the wrong time. In 2 kings 4:8-16, the shunammite woman entertained the man of God and Elisha blessed her. Do what God wants you to do now. Some people postpone washing their clothes thereby pilling up dirty clothes; Some people pile up dirty plates in the kitchen. Do things you can get now and not tomorrow. Every Spirit of procrastination is terminated in your life in Jesus name. 2 Samuel 2:1 says ‘ It happened after this that David inquired of the Lord, saying, shall I go up to any of the cities of Judah? And the Lord said to him Go up. David said , Where shall I go up? And He said To Hebron. David was anointed at 17 years but became a king at 30 years in Judah. Some people come to church late by being at the right place at the wrong time. Time does not wait for anybody.
- GETS YOU PREPARED
Awareness of time gets you prepared for the coming of the messiah. Matthew 24:4 says “ And Jesus answered and said to them Take heed that no one deceives you.” The Disciples asked for the signs of the end time. Sat Gurumaraji and D-Lawrence ( all agents of Satan) claimed that they will die and be raised up after 3 days like Jesus. D-Lawrence died and after 3 days the thunder of God struck
him when the coffin was coming up. Jesus is the only savior; Christ Jesus is coming very soon. Deadly disease, famine, earthquake, pestilence gets you prepared for the things of darkness.
- BATTLE AHEAD OF YOU.
There is battle ahead of time and so you have to fight concerning your destiny. You can not fight a battle if you are comfortable with little. Genesis 24:1 says “ Now Abraham was old, well advanced in age and the Lord has blessed Abraham.’ The second generation became so prosperous. Genesis 26:13 says “ The man ( Isaac) began to prosper and continued prospering and he became very prosperous” Genesis 30:33 says ‘ Thus the man (Jacob) became exceedingly prosperous and had large flocks, female and male servants and camels and donkeys.” I loose that anointing upon you. Receive the anointing against those holding your destiny. You have to pray that enemies will not swallow you up. At the age of 18, you should prepare girls for marriage in their husband’s home. At 21, tell them what it takes in marriage Some men do not celebrate their wife’s birthday because of awareness of time. Luke 8:22 says “ Now it happened on a certain day that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, Let us cross over to the other side of the lake and they launched out.” Jesus says let us cross over to the other side because of the awareness of time. He knows when to preach, pray, heal and go the cross. Say, Father Lord give me the understanding to know the awareness of time, prosperity, purpose. Say Father Lord give me the Spirit to have the awareness of everything around me- fulfillment, things to happen, second coming of Christ and this is the time to have it. Go to God if anybody says your son or daughter will not marry. You need deliverance if you do not want to work for your daily bread. Jesus told Judas Iscariot, what you want to do , do it now. I declare from today: no more captivity; no more stagnancy, no more backwardness, no more failure, no more intimidation, no more rejection; no more affliction; no more humiliation; no more frustration; no more weeping; no more mourning; no more lack; Move forward in Jesus name.
