RESTITUTION

 

There is nothing new under this heaven, we should not let our ambition destroy God’s ordained vision for our life. Luke 19….  Zacchaeus was a chief tax collector, who sought to see Jesus Christ, but he could not because of the crowd, because of his short stature. He climbed a sycamore tree because he knew Jesus Christ will pass through that place; Jesus saw him and said “come down for  I must dine with you in your house.” Jesus Christ went to his house to dine….Luke 19:8-10……Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord “look, Lord I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore four fold.” And Jesus said today salvation has come to this house because he also is a Son of Abraham…… Exodus 22:1…If a man steals an ox or a sheep, and slaughters it,or sells it, he shall restore five oxen for an ox and four sheep for a sheep…….Leviticus 6:5….Or all that about which he has sworn falsely. He shall restore its full value, add one-fifth more to it and give it to whom it to whomever it belongs,on the day of his trespass offering…… Numbers 5:7….then he shall confess the sin which he has committed. He shall make restitution for his trespass in full, plus one-fifth of it and give it to the one he has wronged……

 

Restitution sounds embarrassing, but it is not. God wants us to be perfect ….Matthew 5:48…Therefore you shall be perfect just as your father in heaven is perfect…. God wants to do something through our church,family and as individuals, He wants to do something spectacular, something that has never happened before; He wants to do something great for everyone; He wants your testimony to be strong; He wants your enemies to be put to shame, He wants to disgrace them; He wants to let them know that He is the living God. But if there is anything in you, that you know  does not belong to you, restore it back. off-load whatever you know does not belong to you, or that is not yours. Every cent you have owed people go and restore it. If you have bought some thing from people on credit and you do not pick their phone anymore and you come to church and say that “God has answered your prayers.No you need go and pay back what you owe…” The bible made us to understand in Galatians 6:7…..Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows that he will reap….. Galatians 6:5…For each one shall bear his own load…. Galatians 6:3…For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing he deceives himself…..

 

God is not mocked ….1 Corinthians 15:33… “Do not be deceived; Evil company corrupts good habits,” The interpretation is that bad company corrupts good habits. If everyone is buying on credit, the merchant will run out and be run down, the business will be liquidated….Go and restore it….In the time you are in need, you were suffering, you humbled yourself,  you begged and borrowed some money from that person but…… Now you do not want to pay back; return the money. If you owe anybody any money go and return it because God wants to do something great in our mist. Joshua 3:5…And Joshua said to the people, “sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.” God will perform wonders in your life; I speak in the name of Jesus,by this time tomorrow,the wonders of God shall be established in your life, in the name of Jesus……Amen.

 

Do not let the devil say “why did God have to do it.” Do not let anything block our lives, do not let any barrier. If you have stolen somebody’s wife go and restore the wife, and vice versa. If you have snatched anybody’s husband, go and restore the man. For tomorrow God will do wonders in our mist. Everything that you have owed go and pay it; if you do not have the money go and meet the person back and say “I am sorry I have not been able to meet up with my promise, but I am going to pay back your money to you.”  I do not want you to be left of this blessings that is coming; God said He wants to come down into this earth once more; as it happened in the days of Elijah. God will do great things in the name of Jesus.

 

Have you stolen anybody’s car or house? Everything you have stolen or taken from people, go and restore it, give it back. Do not let another person’s wife enter your eyes, you have your own wife; and if you do not have a wife go and marry. You cannot marry another person’s wife; you cannot marry someone else’s husband, because that belongs to them. What God has joined together let no man put asunder, you cannot be the one to intrude. Whatever we have stolen, whatever we have taken through false accusation, let us restore it. Roman 6:1….What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? The bible says “certainly not.”……..

 

The Lord says “He wants to do great things.” God wants to do great things in your life in the name of Jesus…..Amen…Zacchaeus said “I give  half of what I have to the poor, but if I have taken anything from anyone through false accusation,  I restore it four fold.” Let there be restoration, restitution, in the name of Jesus….. There can never be restoration until restitution is been made. Restoration is different from restitution-; restitution you have restored back what you have taken from people, and the Lord God will now restore you…..”We need to cut our coats according to our sizes”…Whatever God does is perfect, and what whatever God says He is going to do, He will do it for you. Please do not snatch another person’s wife, do not snatch another person’s husband; do not take any person’s money; do not steal. Please go and pay all your cell phone bills……God wants to do great things for you…we need to change our life style…

 

Everybody has his own ambition, but do not let your ambition destroy the divine vision which the Lord has given onto you. Everyone wants to be things of their own making,but God has ordained something for you. We should not  let our ambition to jeopardize God’s vision for us. God is the author of vision, He is the creator of vision. It is okay to be ambitious, but there are ambitions that are evil. It is an evil ambition to overthrow another person, to overthrow your boss, it is an evil ambition to take the husband of your boss, it is an evil ambition to cause destruction and confusion in a place,it is an evil ambition to compete with others…”don’t be like others be yourself”…the way you are created by God and born. ….”YOU HAVE AN AMBITION BUT GOD HAS AVISION FOR YOU” God has a vision for your life, He has a purpose for your life, you are destined for greatness, you are born to rule, the Lord has deposited something great into your life which must come to physical manifestation in the name of Jesus Christ…..

 

Let us change,let there be restitution….. go and restore it;Mothers take care of your children,there are our future…”There is no Success without a Successor”…..The person you will hand over to you need to train the person….The person that will be there for you,when you are old…lets teach them God’s word it will change there culture that is based here…..because they are still Children of God…..
