MOVING TOWARDS GOD’S PATTERN
The Lord said to Moses “see to it that you do everything according to the pattern shown to you on this mountain”…..Exodus 25:40
God wants us to work according to his pattern that he has shown to us without deviation because,
God spoke to Moses when he was on the mountain for 40 days, he told him how he wants the tabernacle to be made, how to build the ark of the covenant, how the priest will minister, what to wear, and how things must be done. God spoke to Moses not to do things as to his own knowledge or ways of doing things, but to do everything according to how he has shown it to him. The reason why we stay so long in prayer and unable to receive our heart desires is because we do not pray according to God’s pattern. Everything we do according to God’s pattern always receives divine intervention, everything in the firmament corporates with us and heaven backs it up. Psalm 3:5&6…Trust the Lord always and do not lean on your own understanding.You do not stand on your own understanding but in the understanding of God.
The wisdom of God is life, peace, and joy; when we do things according to God’s pattern we receive the result that is supposed to take place, and the result is blessing. God is righteous and when he tells us to do anything we should not deviate from his instructions 1Corinthians 11:1…imitate me just as I also imitate Christ…Apostle Paul is saying that I want you to do exactly what am doing ,so that you can get divine blessings. John 10:30..I and my father are one…
What the father does is what Jesus Christ does, they are one and the same.. John 14:1-3..Let not your heart be troubled….Whoever sees Jesus sees God and whoever sees God sees Jesus. Luke 6:40..A disciple is not above his teacher….when you are perfectly trained you will be like your teacher; God wants us to be like him and do everything according to his pattern. Anything that we do that does not follow the pattern of God, does not receive divine blessing. If we want the Lord to intervene and come into our life or answer our prayers we must do everything according to his pattern.
1Corinthians 14:40..Let all things be done decently and in order…God is God of decency and order, everything he does is according to his own pattern. He has a pattern for our life and blesses us differently, God blessed Abraham and Isaac differently. Genesis 13:2.. God blessed Abraham so much he was rich in gold, silver and livestock. Genesis 26:12-14…Isaac sowed in that year….God blessed Isaac during the famine, Genesis 30:43. Do not be like anybody, do what God asked you to do, not what you wish or what anyone wants you to do. Proverbs 1:10…My son when sinners entice you do not consent..See that you do everything according to God’s pattern. Leviticus 10:1&2….. the two sons of Aaron were destroyed because they did not follow God’s pattern.
2Samuel 2:1-4…anointing of David took place because he did what God asked him to do.
3 things we must do according to God’s pattern:
(1) We must worship God according to his pattern; The way we worship God must be according to his pattern for our life. You cannot worship God the way you wish if you want to get resultof your service to God.

We must worship God in spirit and in truth;John 4:23&24….”Now the hour has come”…We have to worship God in spirit. You cannot serve God in the flesh and expect any good result. “We compare spiritual things with spiritual things”. When the spirit of the Lord come upon you the power of the highest overshadow you; what you do not expect will now come to manifestation in your life…
Luke 1:34-37….What makes things possible in our life is when the spirit of God comes upon us. The way we worship the Lord must be according to the spirit of the living God… 2Corinthians 3:17. Where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty, when we need freedom let us worship God in spirit, let the spirit of God lead us. The spirit of God is the light of God and whenever light comes darkness disappear. Galatians 5:16…Walk in the spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh…..
John 14:26& John 15:25&26…I will send the spirt of the Lord unto you, the comforter will come…John 14:16, God said if the spirit is there, he will turn impossibility to possibility.
Isaiah 10:27…It shall come to pass in that day…When the anointing is with you, there shall be no yolk any more, no sickness, no deadly disease, no marriage breaking, no home breaking, no financial crisis, no financial dryness, no trouble,no problem, no barrier, no barricade, no wall of Jericho anymore in your life because it is the spirit of God that is doing it. Matthew 10:20…For it is not you who speak, but the spirit……Let us worship God in truth and spirit. God is not bothered because the spirit of God takes over what is bothering you. When the spirit of God takes over your bussiness you will sit down and blessings will be coming, because instead of going from one place to another the spirit will be doing the running for you. The spirit of God is like fire and nothing can block it from passing through. The spirit of God moves with the power of the living God. Exodus 24:17…The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire….
The glory of the Lord is the spirit of the Lord, that’s why the bible says arise and shine for your light has come, that light is Jesus. When Jesus and the spirit of the Lord comes upon you, you will rise and you will shine even when everybody is crying you will shine; when everybody has failed you will shine; when everybody has fallen down you will shine; when everybody has crumbled you will shine; let us be in the spirit to serve God. When the spirit of the Lord is upon you, you will look at the whole world as nothing; you will look at those wedging war against you as nothing because you are untouchable, the glory of the Lord is upon you, you are like a pillar of fire; nobody will be able to kill you because the glory of God cannot be killed. We must worship God in truth by not tellings lies; anyone who tells lie cannot make it and belongs to the devil. Romans 3:4….Let God be true but every man a liar. ..John 8:44 nothing can prevail against the truth. Proverbs 21:30, John 17:17, John 14:6 & John 8:32…..The truth and the spirit go together 2Corinthians 3:17….We gain freedom when we worship God in spirit and in truth.
(3) We must minister and pray according to God’s pattern;How we pray is important…Luke 11:1-4..Jesus christ gave us the pattern of prayer, We must keep on praying to avoid temptation. We must pray in the name of Jesus. Acts 4:7..The name behind everything is Jesus Christ….James 5:14…Is anyone among you sick….Our ministration for healing and deliverance must go along with oil.
Mark 6:13.. God wants you to know how to pray. 2Corinthians 5:7…For we walk by faith, not by sight, Mark 16:17-18…..Be still and know that I am God; he is God over your situation and journey in Life… Mark 9:29…For this thing cannot be done except through fasting and praying.
Luke 8:54…Peter used the same pattern of Jesus Christ in Acts 9:40 and sent everyone out and raised the dead by prayer. Acts 3:4-6 &1Corinthains 14:33..God is not an author of confusion but of peace…Amos 3:3 …can two work together unless they agreed..When there is no agreement we cannot get anything from God.
Moving according to God’s pattern, we must do what God ask us to do, he wants us to worship him in truth and spirit, minister and pray according to his pattern.
