LEARNING FROM THE FIRST WORLD DESTRUCTION PART 3
Genesis 9:1-17…when we enter into the ark, when we are saved by the Lord Jesus Christ, God blesses us. After we have been saved by God, he is a God of blessing; He operates in the office of blessing. God blessed Noah and his sons, God blessed Adam… Genesis 1:28…God blessed them and God said to them, “be fruitful and multiply”……God is the God of multiplication, it does not matter what you have, that is why the bible says “seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and the rest shall be added unto you”…Matthew 6:33. He will add the rest because the moment you do his will, he blesses you.1Kings 17……Elijah told the widow of Zarephath “thus said the Lord prepare my own first and the Lord said the bowl of flour will not be used up and the jar of the oil will not be empty” The woman did as Elijah commanded and for three and half years the widow was drinking and eating. Where did it come from? Is God who made something out of nothing.
The things that happens when we come to Jesus Christ are as follows:
The Lord released the blessings of God upon Noah and his children. He said they should multiply; to multiply is not only about numerical increase, it goes in every area; there will be numerical , financial, material and spiritual increase. When you come to Jesus Christ,he releases his spirit upon your life, and when the spirit of the Lord comes upon you he increases you. John 14:16&17…I am going to the father, I will send a comforter to you…..John 14:26 & John 15:26..He spoke about the spirit of the living God….Act 1:5-8….You shall receive power when the Holy spirit has come upon you…this means that when you come to Jesus Christ, He increases and blesses you. Jesus said “come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”…Matthew 11:28.. He is the one that will give us rest. Proverbs 10:22..It is the blessings of God that makes one rich and added no sorrow . Psalm 118:25…Bring now o lord I pray bring forth prosperity…God is God of prosperity…Psalm 1:3….He shall be like a tree…..Joshua 1:8…..This book of law shall not depart from your mouth….God prospers us; He is the Lord that prospers his children, He makes things better for us. When Noah and his sons came out of the ark the Lord blessed them.
(2) He empowers us:
When you are empowered,our fear and dread will be on every animal. It is not the will of God for every animal to be chasing us; every animal that sees us must be afraid of us. Daniel entered into the Lions den, but they did not do anything to him, he was taken out of the den without any wound or scratch. The Lions were hungry but when they saw Dainel, they could not eat him because,they dread and the fear of Daniel,made them still so you shall be to every animal. Another example is Samson..Judges 14:5&6…..Samson went to Timnah, he saw a young lion and it roared at him and the spirit of God came upon him mightyly and he tore the lion apart…this is God He can never lie. When God said this is what he is going to do, that is what He will do. He said “let the fear and dread of you be upon every animal, every beast, cattle, every bird of the air and even the fishes in the sea”. God did not create you to be given as food to the animals. 1 Samuel 17:34&35…Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep…..God empowered our Lord Jesus Christ Acts 10:38…How God anointed Jesus Christ of Nazareth with Holy spirit and with power who went about doing good…..He healed all those who were oppressed by the devil because God had empowered Him. Jesus also empowered his disciples in Acts 2:1-4…..God want you to understand what he has in store for you.
Psalm 34:10… The young lion lacks and suffers hunger, but those who seek the Lord shall not lack of any good thing…He makes divine provision for your life. God will provide for you today in the name of Jesus.It is not the will of God for you to lack; atimes you feel that because you are not well connected or because of our family background that is why you are suffering; no when you come to Jesus Christ you have changed your family background you have changed your gene; your family background is that you are a royal priesthood. Apostle Peter said “for you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own special people” 1 Peter 2:9. You are so special in the hands of the Lord..Isaiah 43:4..Because you are precious in my hand, I have loved you and I have honored you. So God has loved and honored you, you are an honorable person. Psalm 34:19…..Many are the affliction of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all…Psalm 34:5….They looked unto him, they were radiant and their faces were not ashamed…They are not ashamed because he is with them…Psalm 34:8..Taste and see that the Lord is good ….God is good and He is good to everyone. Psalm 30:5…For His anger is but for a moment His favor is for life….When God favors you, He favors you forever..Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. When you come to Jesus Christ you have access to Him and you can speak to Him and you can ask him for whatever you want.
God warns you, He instructs us not to do certain things ; He makes us understand the things we are supposed to do and the things that are not supposed to be done. When you come to Jesus Christ he instructs and warns you.
