God’s Love

Welcome to the Children’s Section! Today, we’re talking about a basic topic every child should know — God’s Love. Did you know that God loves you very much? His love for you is BIGGER than the enormous blue whale, deeper than the ocean, wider than the skies above you, and the best part, it lasts forever! Let’s explore what the Bible says about God’s love and why it’s so important for children to understand this beautiful gift of God to us.

1. God Created You with Love

God made you just the way you are — unique and special. You’re one of a kind. The Bible tells us that even before you were born, He already knew you and loved you. Isn’t that amazing? Psalm 139:13-14 (NIV) says: “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” God spent time thinking about how to make you, then He meticulously and painstakingly put you together and voila! Here you are, His special creation.

2. God's Love Never Ends

Unlike some things that come and go, God’s love lasts forever. It never changes, even when we make mistakes. God is always ready to forgive us and welcome us back with open arms because His love is so big! Jeremiah 31:3 (NIV) says: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. “This means God’s love for you is forever—it never runs out or fades away.

3. God Sent Jesus Because He Loves You

One of the biggest ways God showed His love was by sending His Son, Jesus, to earth. Jesus came to help us understand just how much God loves us. He also gave His life so that we could be close to God and have eternal life with Him in heaven. John 3:16 (NIV) says: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” That means God’s love is so strong that He made a way for us to be with Him forever! How awesome is it that we get to spend eternity with God?!

4. God's Love Protects You

When you’re feeling scared, lonely, or unsure, you can remember that God’s love is like a shield around you. He is always watching over you and keeping you safe. You can pray to Him anytime, and He will listen. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NIV) “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. “God’s love is like a strong fortress that keeps you safe. You are never alone because God is always with you and he guards you jealously!

5. God Wants You to Share His Love

God loves you so much, but He doesn’t want that love to stop with you. He wants you to share it with others—your family, friends, and even people you don’t know. When you are kind, forgiving, and caring, you show others what God’s love looks like. 1 John 4:11 (NIV) says: “Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” When we love others the way God loves us, we make the world a better place, and we help others see how amazing God’s love is.

So remember, no matter what happens, God’s love is always with you. Whether you’re happy or sad, excited or nervous, God’s love will never leave you. You can talk to Him anytime through prayer, and you can read about His love in the Bible. Let’s end with this beautiful reminder from Romans 8:39 (NIV): “Nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

You are forever loved by God! See you on the next post.
