VICTORY
2 kings 6:8-24……Now the king of Aram was at war
with Israel. After conferring with his officers, he said, “I will set up my camp
in such and such a place.” 9 The man of God sent word to the king of Israel:
“Beware of passing that place, because the Arameans are going down there………”

Evil and
terror will not come to your house again in the name of Jesus…. Syria and
Israel has never been friends; they have been enemies of each other. By the
time Elisha was a prophet in Israel; he was the one protecting the city spiritually.
9 The man of God sent word to the king of Israel: “Beware of passing

king of Israel checked on the place indicated by the man of God. Time and again
Elisha warned the king, so that he was on his guard in such places. 11
This enraged the king of Aram. He summoned his officers and demanded of them,
“Tell me! Which of us is on the side of the king of Israel?” 12
“None of us, my lord the king,” said one of his officers, “but Elisha, the
prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the very words you speak in
your bedroom.” 13 “Go, find out where he is,” the king ordered, “so
I can send men and capture him.” The report came back: “He is in Dothan.” 14
Then he sent horses and chariots and a strong force there. They went by night
and surrounded the city. 15 When the servant of the man of God got
up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had
surrounded the city. “Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?” the servant asked. 16
“Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than
those who are with them.” Those who are
with us are stronger than those who are with them; ladies and gentlemen, those who are with
you are more than those who are at the camp of your enemies. Praise
the Lord….. Praise the living Jesus……..
terror will not come to your house again in the name of Jesus…. Syria and

Hour of
victory that is the title of my message today; everyone prays for victory; but
when victory is going to take place in our lives, we need to understand that
there must be warfare. There is no reason why you have to pray for victory if
you are comfortable; there is no reason why you have to pray for victory if
there is no warfare in your life. I want to tell you, there is no way you will
live on this earth without spiritual warfare. If you did not face spiritual
warfare, I want you to understand that you already faced physical warfare, the
moment you gave your life to Jesus Christ. One thing I want to remain in your
heart is- there
is more with us than those who are with our enemies. When we say
there is more with us, we are talking about the power. When Sennacherib was
waging war against the land of Judah, he was banking on185 thousand soldiers. The
bible made us understand that the Lord told Hezekiah “do not be afraid because
Sennacherib cannot do anything.”
Isaiah 37:36….. Then the angel of the Lord went out, and killed in the camp of
the Assyrians one hundred and eighty-five thousand; and when people arose early
in the morning, there were the corpses—all dead. Making me to understand that
those who are with us are stronger than those who are in the camp of our
enemies. The power of victory has entered into your life today in the name of
Jesus Christ….. I want you to understand
this is your hour of victory; receive it in the name of Jesus Christ…. When we
trust God; when we understand the God that we serve; every road might be
blocked, God always makes a way; there is no way that has been blocked for God;
no door can be shut against God. Herod was angry Acts 12:1; 5-10… Now about
that time Herod the king stretched out his hand to harass some from the church.
5 Peter was therefore kept in prison,
but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church. 6 And
when Herod was about to bring him out, that night Peter was sleeping, bound
with two chains between two soldiers; and the guards before the door were
keeping the prison. 7 Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him,
and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him
up, saying, “Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands. 8
Then the angel said to him, “Gird yourself and tie on your sandals”; and so he
did. And he said to him, “Put on your garment and follow me. 9 So he
went out and followed him, and did not know that what was done by the angel was
real, but thought he was seeing a vision. 10 When they were past the
first and the second guard posts, they came to the iron gate that leads to the
city, which opened to them of its own accord; and they went out and went down
one street, and immediately the angel departed from him The first, second gates
was opened, that was why it was hard for Herod to believe that any power could
take Peter out of the prison; because it was shut with three securities. He thought
it was a conspiracy and the guards released Peter; but it was God Himself.

I want to

give you victory in the name of Jesus Christ….. When they got to Samaria, in
the palace of the king of Israel, Elisha said now God open their eyes; when
their eyes were open they realized they were in the king’s palace, and they
were shaking. The king had every opportunity to wipe them off; he asked Elisha
if he could wipe them off. Elisha said No; set food before them, let them eat
and drink and go tell their master what has happened to them. When they heard
it the Syrian band did not come to Israel any more. Anything that meant affliction
or disaster will never enter your house again in the name of Jesus Christ…..
Whatever is meant for evil will never touch you again in the name of Jesus
Christ…. I want to say to everyone that we need to trust
God; there can never be a victory if there is no battle; you can
never declare yourself a champion if you have never fought. The world we are
living in is full of trouble; criticism, and enemity. Some people laugh with
you because they want to laugh at you; some people are smiling with you this
hour because they are smiling in order for you to relax, to feel that you do
not have any enemy. If you feel so comfortable, you may lose the spiritual gift
that is in you; some people want to move closer to you to prove that they are
your friend; because they want you to relax, so that you feel that there is no
enemy around you. When you feel that there is no enemy around you, you feel
that there is no need for prayer; but there is need for prayer.

who lies in your bosom. 6 For son dishonors father, Daughter rises
against her mother, Daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; A man’s enemies
are the men of his own household. And the scripture can never lie; a man’s
enemy are the members of his household; may I pray this prayer; “anyone that
wants to kill you, the Lord will terminate them in the name of Jesus mighty
name…. whoever that is drawing closer to you in order to see your end, today
God will wipe them out in the name of Jesus Christ….. Whoever is smiling at you
in order to cut you off, the Lord will cut them off in the name of Jesus Christ….
Whoever that is smiling at you today, because they want to see your disgrace,
the Lord will not let anybody see your disgrace; because you will not be
disgraced. They shall be disgraced in the name of Jesus Christ….” Receive victory
today in the name of Jesus Christ…

1. Look beyond what is seen

before the king of Assyria, nor before all the multitude that is with him; for
there are more with us than with him. 8 With him is an arm of flesh;
but with us is the Lord our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” And the

2. A winner never fears: if you want to be victorious you should not
fear. 2 Timothy 1:7…For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power
and of love and of a sound mind. Haggai 2:5….. ‘According to the
word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit
remains among you; do not fear!’ God does not want you to fear or be
afraid; everyone who wants to win must destroy the spirit of fear from their
life. Come out boldly and gain the spirit of boldness; face whatever is facing
you; let them know that they cannot do anything against you. Our security is
God, when you think that you will fail, then you have already signed your
failure; when you think that you will die, you have already signed your death
warrant. But when you think that you can do it, you can make it happen with
God.

business, it is already done; agree about the contract that is coming your way,
it is already done; agree with God it is already done. I say “it is already
done” lose the sight of man and gain the sight of the almighty; gain the sight
of the almighty, in the name of Jesus….. The Almighty Father told Moses “You
are taking my people to the promised land, knowing that there were Jebusites, Canaanites,
Girgashites, Hittites, and Amorites ” He knew they were strong and mightier
than the children of Israel; but He knew that He has power over everything. When
Joshua took assignment, He said, “just be strong and courageous because with
you, you are going to divide this land to the children of Israel.” Ladies and gentlemen,
God now told Joshua in Joshua 1:3; 5-7…. Every place that the sole of your foot
will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses. 5 No man shall be able
to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will
be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. 6 Be strong and of
good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance
the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. 7 Only be
strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law
which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or
to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. God did it because He is the God of
possibility; let everything that is impossible in your life be possible today
in the name of Jesus…Praise the Lord…..

4. Gain the voice of God: A winner loses the voice of man and gains the voice
of God. The voice was first released before the word was written. The word did
not precede the voice; Genesis 1:1-3; 8….. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2
The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the
deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3
Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. That was the voice,
but it was written; the voice was released 8 And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the
garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the
presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. When you gain the voice
of God, whatsoever you decree shall be established. Isaiah 45:11….. Thus says
the Lord, The Holy One of Israel, and his Maker:

be shaking at your voice; your voice will shake your enemies in the name of
Jesus…… God will put your dread on your enemies; God will put your fear in the

woman or man; Naomi stood like a father to Ruth; because she was physically her
mother-in-law, but spiritually, the father. A good father never thinks of
himself alone, he thinks about his family and children. Proverbs 13:22….
A good man leaves an
inheritance to his children’s children, But the wealth of the sinner is stored
up for the righteous. Anyone who is just pursuing his own goal without thinking
about his wife or children is not a father. When you are a father, you will
understand that even I have left, my children must not suffer. Abraham told his
servant “you have to go to my family to find a wife for my son, I do not want
my son to marry any of the women from Canaan” That is a father because he
enjoyed his wife Mother Sarah, and he wanted his son also, to enjoy his life. Isaac
was going to bless Esau, unfortunately he blessed Jacob; spirit of a father, to
bless your son. Today is father’s day, you have to develop that spirit; a
father makes spiritual and physical provision. Do you know that Elijah did not
relate with Elisha as a general overseer, but as a father. When the chariot
took him he said “my father, my father, the chariot of Israel; God why did you
take my father away.” He stood by his father; we have to develop the spirit of
a father. Your victory and the defeat of your children does not give you
victory; if your children are defeated, and you say; you are victorious, you
are not a father, and you are not victorious. Your victory is when everyone
around you is victorious; you can never go there alone, because you are not
alone. Let us love our children; Moses surrendered his life completely for the
children of Israel Exodus 32:31-32….. Then Moses returned to the Lord and
said, “Oh, these people have committed a great sin, and have made for
themselves a god of gold! 32 Yet now, if You will forgive their sin—but if not, I pray,
blot me out of Your book which You have written. Be a good father,
develop the spirit of father. HAPPY FATHER’S DAY
